Qing Dynasty|Each potted from dark brown clay and comprising: a square tapering teapot with polished surface and metal replacement spout; a 'Three Friends' hexagonal teapot and cover, also with polished surface; a cylindrical 'bamboo' teapot and cover with metal replacement spout; a square baluster teapot with applied prunus decoration; and a compressed cylindrical teapot and cover, the base with seal mark [Shao Zimao].|The largest: 20.5cm (8 1/8in) wide (10).|Provenance: the 'Three Friends' teapot bought from 'Lorenz John' on 5 October 1985, by repute.
