Republic period and earlier|Comprising: a small globular teapot with applied decoration of phoenix and blossoming prunus; a lobed 'lion' teapot and cover, incised 'Yin He' to the interior of the lid; and a tapering teapot and cover with applied decoration of bees and prunus, the base with an impressed four-character mark.|The largest: 18cm (7 1/8in) wide (6).|Provenance: the globular teapot purchased from John Lorenz on 5 October 1985 (collector's notes).Similar 'lion' teapots were sold in our Hong Kong rooms, 27 May 2012, Yixing Stoneware and Scholar's Objects from Private Collections, lot 535.
