19th/20th century|Comprising: two 'Three Friends of Winter' teapots and covers, one with overhead handle and impressed mark to base [Yixing Zisha], the other with pictorial mark to base; a teapot and cover decorated with peaches; and a brown clay teapot and cover with 'Squirrel and Grapevine' motif, the base marked [Ge Mingchang Zao], the lid with incised character.|(10).|Provenance: the squirrel and grapevine teapot purchased from Renate and Tasha Moss on 3 February 1985 (collector's note).Acquired at an antique fair in the Chesterfield Hotel, Chesterfield, three weeks prior (by repute).The prunus teapot received as a gift on Christmas 1974 (collector's note).
