Qing Dynasty and later|Comprising: a 'lotus and conch' ewer with metal replacement cover, formed of reddish-purple and duanni clay; a purplish brown and black clay incised tripod teapot and cover, the spout and finial in the form of dragons, the base and lid with impressed seal marks; an Yixing ewer moulded and carved as a duck, the base incised 'Liao (?)Zhong ji zao'; and an incised green clay teapot decorated with calligraphy.|The largest: 21cm (8 1/4in) long (7).|A similar tripod with dragon snout as the one in the present lot, but bearing a pictorial mark instead of a four-character seal mark to the base and inset mark to the lid, is illustrated by the Palace Museum, ed. J. Wang, Yixing Zisha Wares in the Palace Museum, Beijing, Forbidden City Press, 2007, no. 39.
