An exquisite plique-a-jour cloisonne vase by Andopany, likely mid-late 20th century. A work of art, this baluster shaped vase is crafted with the most refined designs and technique. The pattern features large bundles of white calla lilies and orange orchids in exuberant tropical foliage on a pale green background. The color pallet is subtle but harmonious and striking, calling to mind the painting of Georgia O'Keeffe. Under the light, it irradiates a translucent beauty that is hard to describe.
