提要:阿弥陀佛分为无量寿佛和无量光佛两个独立的神格,无量寿佛为菩萨装,无量光佛为比丘装。此幅表现的就是其中的无量寿佛。主尊居于中央,面相慈和,现金色身,天冠菩萨装,身饰璎珞,端身正坐于青毛狮背,宝骑下承缠枝牡丹座；双手结说法印,拈生二花,花硕叶茂,左右胁侍；身后安有头光、身光和精美的背光,祥云锦簇,主尊周匝绘环布二百余尊小型众弟子供养人。画面底色为淡蓝色,主尊与四众弟子皆主红色,冷暖色调对比强烈,整体构图延续了西藏早期绘画的棋格形式,体现了浓郁的地方绘画色彩。
