A SUPERB EARLY FAMILLE ROSE TEAPOT AND COVER Yongzheng period, circa 1730A SUPERB EARLY FAMILLE ROSE TEAPOT AND COVERYongzheng period, circa 1730Extremely finely painted on each side of the globular body with a large scroll-bordered cartouche centered by a pierced wicker basket issuing peony, day lily and magnolia branches and alongside a footed tray with finger citrus and another fruit, all on backdrop of a dense gilt and iron-red Y-shaped pattern that encircles the cartouche and is set on a grisaille cell ground, the plain spout and handle each rising from a brilliantly enameled ogival cartouche painted with hibiscus flowers on a dense leavy ground in different green shades, the shoulder with a thin band of iron-red and gilt scrolls with chrysanthemum and peony heads, the matching cover with gilt bud finial. 7 1/8in (18cm) across, cloth box雍正時期 約1730年 粉彩描金花卉開光茶壺Provenance:Kahlil R.
