William Monckton Arundel became 2nd Viscount GALWAY (died 1772) in 1751. William was the son of John MONCKTON-ARUNDELL (1695-1751) who was in 1727 created 1st Viscount GALWAY. Elizabeth and William Monkton-Arundel had three sons and two daughters, and their two sons succeeded as 3rd and 4th Viscount.
