A fine carved Yingqing dish, the slightly domed base of the interior decorated with three lotus flowers, encircled round the well by a band of small overlapping petals, covered inside and out with an alternative glaze of pale blue tone, the unglazed rim revealing the ware burnt orange in the firing. The slightly concave base glazed. Diameter: 14 cm. A small moulded dish, the shallow flared sides resting on a slightly concave base, the interior moulded in shallow relief with fish swimming in the same direction amongst lotus and other plants. Encircled round the well by a band of small overlapping petals beneath key fret chain border. The glaze of alternative greenish blue celadon thinning to white on the highlights. The unglazed rim revealing the pale ware burnt bright orange in the firing, with fully glazed base. Diameter: 10 cm. Acquired in 1993 from Schoeni, Hongkong
