本品直柄直身，铜鎏金材质，刀首尾两端镶嵌和田玉顶饰。刀鞘为铜胎，饰掐丝珐琅花卉纹，珐琅彩料秀丽，繁花清俏婉转。刀鞘两端与刀柄上端均以红蓝宝珠嵌饰一周。刀柄身以錾刻工艺刻绘云龙纹，龙身盘曲，威武矫健，奔腾于祥云海浪之中。琢刻精细繁美，局部之处如龙鳞，龙须皆细腻流畅，游龙之姿栩栩如生。整器形制精巧华贵，工艺繁复精湛，为清制用器之佳品。
