AN 18TH CENTURY MAHOGANY TRIPOD TABLE the rectangular tilt-top with re-entrant corners and mid-points, the underside with later Victorian applied edge moulded with a band of ovals, on a turned tapering fluted column with carved knop on three acanthus carved cabriole legs terminating in ball and claw feet. 71.5cm high, top 83.5cm by 78cm The has been stripped and is faded. The tilt-top hinges and catches well. No sign of worm or losses. In generally good condition with a well-carved base.
