A GEORGE II MAHOGANY GATELEG DINING TABLE, MID-18TH CENTURY the large oval dropleaf top raised on tapering legs terminating in pad feet. 72cm high, 157cm wide (open), 144.5cm deep Original hinged and screws visible on the underside. The gateleg action works well. The mahogany is of lovely quality with good rich red colour. No worm and structurally sound. There are some marks and blemishes on the top but this is an original and very good quality period table.
