Stretcher marks visible and areas of coarse surface cracking throughout. A tear in the canvas with a corresponding areas of paint loss of approx. 2 cm in the sky centre left. Another speck of paint loss to the left of the tree trunk above the woman with the wicker hat. Two patches on the reverse of the canvas, UV reveals restorations in these areas, including a restored vertical tear of approx. 15 cm in the sky upper left. A layer of surface dirt and discoloured varnish, would benefit from a clean. Abrasions around the edges from contact with the frame.
