Description The first of Gu-form, decorated with antiques and scholar's items, scrollwork at the waist, pendant leaves to the base, incised scrolls to lip, waist and base; the second of rouleau form, decorated with a dancer before a noblewoman or empress among attendants.(H: 17 3/4 in.; 17 1/4 in.)PROVENANCE:Property formerly in the collection of Harry J. Haon II (1901-1989), thence by descentHaon was employed by E.I. du Pont de Nemours & Company, and was promoted in 1954 to the Foreign Relations Department as Manager of the European Office, London, England, until his retirement in 1962.
