Provenance: Stanley Johnson of Bearsted, Kent; by whom given to Queenborough Lodge (of which Johnson was Worful Master in 1922); Canterbury Auction Galleries, February 16th 2016; Private Collection Watson exhibited `Hampshire Water Meadows` at the Royal Academy, 1906, no.487; and `Summer` at the RA in 1907, no.730. *CR Unlined; good condition overall; slight paint separation in water on right; fine period frame.
