Exhibited: London, The Royal Academy, 1959, no.408 (label on frame giving title and indicating that it might have been exhibited at The Royal Society of Portrait Painters too) * The sitter is Prue Carmalt Jones, the daughter of Hazel Carmalt Jones, the assistant Secretary at The Byam Shaw School of Art. *CR Small damage towards upper left corner.
