VICTORIAN SWISS MUSIC BOX - 8 AIRS, 'BELLS IN SIGHT'. A late Victorian music box, with an eight air movement and change/repeat, start/stop levers. With bells in sight and with enamelled Butterfly strikers, the song sheet marked Made in Switzerland and in a walnut and faux rosewood case. Case 47cms by 28cms, 21.5cms high, cylinder 15.5cms long. *CR Mechanism in working order and with a nice sound, teeth and tips are intact. Case, some wear in places as you would expect over time and a few marks and scratches.
