Ca. 1100-1300 AD. A bronze cruciform pendant bearing an ornate design, with a pair of round protrusions extending from each arm. The pendant is crafted from bronze and features a detailed decorative pattern along its arms, as well as a central suspension loop. Medieval cross pendants were widely worn as a symbol of faith and devotion to Christianity as they spread throughout Europe in the Middle Ages. They were used as both a symbol of faith and as a fashion accessory. The most common type of cross pendant was the Latin cross, which is a cross with four equal-length arms.
