通体施淡青釉，釉上满布大开片。灰胎，胎上施深色护胎釉。此杯属官窑中一种有官窑形式风格的作品。有几件与本品相关的作品可资比较，一件是四川金鱼村窖藏出土的一件黑胎龙泉窑花口瓶，著录于《龙泉窑瓷器研究》，北京，2013年，彩色图版8；另一件是杭州出土的官窑花口璧瓶，著录于《南宋杭州修内司官窑研究》，杭州，2006年，148页，112号。金鱼村瓶是菱形切面，而本瓶的切面则较近于长方形，造型更为秀美忻长。这个器型可能受到官窑早期的影响，此杯是灰胎上加了深色的护胎汁。
