此件赏瓶器型规整，造型秀丽端庄，呈小唇口，细长颈，丰肩，弧腹下收，圈足外撇。瓷胎紧密，通体施茄皮紫釉，釉面莹润，釉色凝重深沉，纵横交错，精致细腻，底露胎，刻“乾隆年制”刻篆书款，造型别致，光素古雅，贵气内敛，观赏性极强，颇可赏玩。整器所施之釉发色纯正，釉质清透，挂釉均匀，色彩绚丽，像成熟的茄子皮一样的光润，故名茄皮紫
