作者简介：任颐（1840-1895），初名润，字次远，号小楼，后改名颐，字伯年，别号山阴道上行者、寿道士等，以字行，浙江山阴航坞山（今杭州市萧山区）人。他善于学习民间绘画和西洋水彩、素描的技法，加强中国画写实成分，把工笔与写意、中国传统画法与西洋画法、文人画与民间绘画结合起来。他的主要成就在人物画和花鸟画。
