A Chinese Yue ware celadon cup with holder/saucer, Tang Dynasty , with characteristic brownish green glaze. The saucer has a raised central ring to steady the cup and a seven petal flower design around the ring. Outside of cup has design which echoes the pointed petal flower theme. both have some crackling in glaze and unfired clay exposed on bottom.Saucer: 4.75" (12.1 cm) Cup: D. 3" (7.6 cm)Condition: in good condition overall with glaze dimple on side of cup.
