Imperial yellow-glazed dishes of this design are very rare. Compare with a similar yellow-enamelled incised 'crane and pine' dish, Yongzheng six-character mark and of the period, illustrated by R.Jacobsen, Ye Peilan and J.Thompson, Qingdai Kang Yong Qian guanyao ciqi: wangxing lou cang ci, Hong Kong, 2004, pp.236-237, no. 93.
