AN EXQUISITE AND RARE UNDERGLAZE-BLUE AND COPPER-RED DOUBLE-GOURD VASEYongzheng six-character mark and of the periodSuperbly potted with a domed body rising to a waisted and ribbed neck surmounted by a bulbous mouth, flanked by a pair of loop handles in the form ofruyi sceptres, delicately painted in vibrant tones of cobalt-blue with a continuous meandering foliate scroll bearing lotus blossoms in brilliant copper-red, the handles painted with leafy flower heads, all between a band of stylised lappets above the foot and a key-fret border at the rim, wood stand and box.18.5cm (7 1/4in) high (2).Provenance: 清雍正 青花釉裏紅纏枝蓮紋雙帶如意尊青花「大清雍正年製」楷書款Provenance:Christie's London, 5 November 2013, lot 408A distinguished Asian private collection來源：倫敦佳士得，2013年11月5日，拍品408顯赫亞洲私人收藏Copper-red and cobalt-blue double-gourd vases of Yongzheng mark and period are very rare since it was a revolutionary creation in the Imperial workshop, only an almost identical blue and white vase with copper red of the same shape from the Qing Court Collection is published, illustrated in Theplete Collection of Treasures of the Palace Museum, Blue and White Porcelain With Underglaze Red (III), Hong Kong, 2000, p.219, no.200. There are examples of Yongzheng mark and period vases of the same shape but with different glazes, see a pair of teadust-glazed flasks, illustrated in Chinese Ceramics in the Idemitsu Collection, Japan, 1987, fig.961; and a robin's egg glazed vase illustrated in Sotheby's Thirty Years in Hong Kong, Hong Kong, 2003, no.143.The same shape continues to the succeeding Qianlong period but there is no known underglaze-blue and copper-red example. See a carved celadon glazed vase originally from The J.M. Hu Family Collection, which was sold at Christie's, Hong Kong, from The Robert Chang Collection, 28 November 2006, lot 1307. Another Qianlong period blue and white vase of the same shape was sold at Christie's Hong Kong, 27 October 2003, lot 634.尊蒜頭口，頸中部凸起，口、肩處飾對稱如意耳，隨形描繪如意雲頭紋，覆鉢形腹，圈足。口、腹主體紋飾為青花釉裏紅纏枝蓮紋，口沿青花繪一周回字紋，束頸處飾卷草紋、折枝花卉紋及纏枝紋，近足以青花變形蓮瓣紋承托，底青花雙圈内書「大清雍正年製」楷書款。此尊精美大氣，為雍正時期唐窯新出器樣，其色彩明豔，紋飾嚴謹，除青花釉裏紅外，尚有仿汝、仿官、茶葉末等品種，燒製一直延續到乾隆朝。如意尊又因腹部形狀不同分為兩種，一種為圓腹，一種為扁腹，翻閱公私典藏可知，圓腹較扁腹者多見。查閱海內外公私著錄，與拍品相同者僅見故宮博物院清宮舊藏清雍正青花釉裏紅...
