Interesting group of books and magazines concerning the Italian economic mission in Japan and in Manciukuò, sent by the fascist government in May and June 1938, belonged to Giovanni Battista Chiossi, Central Director of Chemical Industries at the time, member of the Italian delegation. The mission was presided by Ettore Conti di Verampli, and included representatives of the highest economicmercial bodies of the Italian Kingdom and ten technical advisers, each for a specific sector of Italian industry.
