高15.5cm口径19.3cm腹径20.5cm耳距32.5cm重12.8斤炉型制端庄大气，敞口薄唇，微束颈，溜肩敛底，浑圆鼓腹，底承三蹄足。颈腹左右各铸戟耳，耳垂上卷，流线高贵。器壁两面开窗，錾刻缠枝莲花卉纹纹饰，花瓣叶脉卷舒有劲，枝繁叶茂，一丝不苟，自然写实，构图疏密有秩，生动形象，鎏金装饰，宝光泽泽，彰显炉之雍容华贵之气度，收藏赏玩俱佳。炉之戟耳，乃形似兵器戟而得名，其身呈方角的扁柱体，有新月之意味，结构方中寓圆。戟耳炉于宋代时即可见之，明代正统时期亦流行。其形又分为两式，一种是耳体之侧为月牙刀形，另一种是呈方角的扁柱体，侧面亦作扁方的柱状体。
