A pair of Chinese blue and white armorial dishes in Japanese Kakiemon style, Qianlong period, c.1752,each painted to the centre with a tiger and bamboo, the petal lobed border reserved with pine, lion-dogs, dragons, bamboo and prunus, the underside with the arms of Walpole quarterly impaling Cavendish, in a rococo cartouche, within a scrollwork border, 27.8cm diameter, one dish repairedcf.
