A MING STYLE CELADON GLAZED ‘FISH’ PORCELAIN BOWLChina, late Qing Dynasty (1644-1912) or earlier. Of conical form, carved to the interior with one fish and stylized waves, covered overall in a pale grayish-celadon glaze suffused with crackles. The recessed base with a two-character mark.Condition: Good condition, minor wear, small chips, and firing flaws including dark spots, and glaze recesses. Provenance: Holzapfel collection, Geneva, Switzerland. This lot was acquired by second generation members of the Holzapfel family after 1970 and has remained in the family ever since.Weight: 303 gDimensions: Diameter 18.5 cm
