A FINE CARLEIAN AGATE SNUFF BOTTLE, QINGChina, Qing Dynasty (1644-1912). Of flattened ovoid form with a short cylindrical neck and a concave lip, carved from semi-translucent and finely polished stone of a rich red hue with natural inclusions. Condition: Very good condition with minor surface wear, the stone with natural inclusions and fissures. Provenance: Previously in a prominent Snuff Bottle collection, New York.
