AN INDIAN MINIATURE PAINTING OF RAMA, SITA AND LAXMAN, SECOND HALF OF THE 19TH CENTURYIndia, Jaipur, second half of the 19th century. Ink and watercolor on thin paper. Painted only in red, depicting a scene from the Ramayana, showing Rama, his wife Sita, and Rama’s brother Laxman in the forest. With inscriptions on the front side as well as on the reverse of the painting.Condition: Fine condition with wear, tears, soiling and staining.
