观音菩萨可谓汉传佛教中家喻户晓的女性神灵，因其救度众生的无上慈悲，而受到广大信众的尊崇，乃至出现了“家家观世音，人人阿弥陀”的盛况。此尊头束高发髻，发髻形如柱状。头戴精致花冠，面庞方圆，五官端正，双目微阖，表情慈悲，彷如在观照世间众生的疾苦。上身躯体柔软，戴多层网状璎珞，着通肩长服，左手结禅定印。下身长裙飘逸宽松，双腿结跏趺端坐，下承台座。整像工艺展现出汉传佛教造像写实、生动的艺术特点，其网状璎珞、台座样式也都是汉地艺术常见的造型样式，更兼宗教寓意吉祥，是一尊汉地佛教造像的规范之作。
