此红釉盘敞口，弧壁，圈足。通体内外施红釉，素面无纹饰，底施白釉，盘心内青花书六字三行“大清乾隆年制”篆书款。造型规整，胎质细腻，釉面匀净，色调深沉鲜艳，为清朝红釉器的经典之作。高温铜红釉始烧于元代景德镇，又称“祭红”，烧成技术极难掌握，有“千窑一红”的说法。清朝《景德镇陶歌》中曰：“官古窑成重霁红，最难全美费良工。霜天晴昼精心合，一样搏烧百不同”。
