此器形制仿青铜器鬲而成，龙泉瓷器香炉中也常有所见。此件香炉则是选用宜兴紫砂为胎，器形规整，口侈而折，短束颈，扁圆腹外鼓，附三乳形足。通体施天蓝釉，光亮厚润如碧玉。另配以银质镂空雕炉盖，器底作紫檀底座，且满嵌银丝工艺繁复细致，经久岁月器身开片自然，整器造型古朴典雅。
