|此橄榄瓶因形似橄榄，故而得名，橄榄瓶为清代瓷器的典型造型之一，始创于清代早期，流行于雍正、乾隆朝，其后少见。此只橄榄瓶外壁通施霁红釉，釉色纯净深沉，端庄静谧。霁红釉创烧于元代，极盛于永宣，其后断绝。康熙晚期，在督陶官郎廷极的主持下，霁红釉再度烧造成功，成为清代单色釉的重要品种之一。本瓶造型雍容秀颀，釉色匀净细润，虽无款识，但仍不失为一件时代特征鲜明的清中早期佳品。
