朱屺瞻 1892年生于江苏太仓。毕业于上海图画美术院，后赴日本入川端美术 学校，师承藤岛武二。曾任上海艺术专科学校教授、中国美术家协会顾问、中 国书法家协会理事、上海美术家协会常务理事、西泠印社顾问、上海中国画院 画师、上海师范大学艺术系教授。作品多次参加全国美术作品展，代表作有 《风景》、《竹石图》、《菊花》，并被海内外多家博物馆、美术馆收藏。
