清代的笔筒中，从存世的情况来看，瓷笔筒是仅次于竹笔筒的。品种涉及青花、青花釉里红、釉里红、墨彩、五彩、粉彩、斗彩、单色釉等。其中，康熙的青花、雍正的墨彩和乾隆的粉彩笔筒，体现了各朝瓷器烧制的最高水平。从器型上看，清早期（顺治、康熙），某些笔筒还保留了明代笔筒上下均略撇的特征；清中期后，笔筒多为直身圆筒。从纹样看，有山水人物、花鸟、松鹤、百寿字等，但以山水人物故事为多，如虎溪相送、竹林七贤、春夜宴桃李园等。此笔筒为青花釉里红纹饰，及其难得，画片为松鹤延年，画工精细。
