此托盘高足，撇口，厚实稳固,绘画纹饰之缠枝莲纹取自睡莲，亦称为番莲，多见于佛教经典之中，出淤泥而不染，圣洁无瑕，晨开暮合，象征轮回重生。含苞至绽放，寓意修行之道的不同阶段，此处所见莲华盛开，圆满辉煌，意喻证悟得道。盘内为石榴花鸟纹，寓意多子多福，宣德为明朝第五位皇帝明宣宗朱瞻基，统治时期管理严格，国泰民安，是明朝政权最稳定的时期，宣宗擅艺好雅，在文化上的造诣很深，在位时江西景德镇御窑瓷业兴盛，质臻艺绝，以青花瓷尤为出众，高岭土瓷胎质高致密，撷古创新，器形纹饰新颖多貌，励精图强，是一位能文能武的明君。
