徐汉棠，1932年5月11日出生于江苏宜兴，中国工艺美术大师，荣获“中国工艺美术终身成就奖”，是中国紫砂界唯一获此殊荣者。1948年初中毕业后即跟随父母学艺，1952年拜当代紫砂泰斗顾景舟为师，为顾景舟第一弟子。 1972年，徐汉棠与胞弟徐秀棠设计了一套“十五头嵌银丝咖啡具”，由中国故宫博物院收藏。2014年，由徐汉棠捐资1000万元冠名的教育基金会正式成立。2017年11月，季汉生设计的紫砂茗器“宫壶”制作授权仪式在宜兴范家壶庄举行，范大生嫡孙范秀红成为制作“宫壶”的唯一授权人，中国工艺美术大师徐汉棠担纲制作艺术指导。
