本拍品肩负贯耳，通体内外施釉，釉色米黄，釉层光亮，匀净细润。胎体结实厚重，胎色纯正厚温润，挺拔俊雅，方阔沈稳，其简洁端庄，唯覃奥渊涵可达，遥想当时烧成出窑以后，冷却功夫掌握得宜，继而润其色，方得如此铁线开片。疏朗自然，仿佛琼玉整块琢成，胎土黝色，唯足可见，器型精致，工艺精沉稳古朴，线条流畅，工匠掌握了开片的制作工艺。片纹大小各异，纵横交错，疏密得当，富有变化，装饰感强烈。利用开片作抽象纹饰装饰，形成了一种独具韵味的美感。宋朝艺术与工艺的发展成熟臻善，轮廓线条柔美绵延，简约雅绝，可谓超前同时期全球艺术几近千年，追求简约、功能性的艺术风格，澄泥为范，极其精致，油色莹澈，为世后珍，直径仍深厚影响当代艺术与工艺发展。
