釉里红团风纹摇铃尊为清康熙一朝独有，同类器传世罕见，素为瓷中贵胄。 此器腹部造型及纹饰取材商周青铜器 ，《宣和博古图》中刊录的「周山纹錞」，与之极为相似，应为其蓝本原型。撷取「錞」之式样作为腹部，漩涡状团花纹及一周青花釉里红锯齿状纹样亦与「周山纹錞」上的纹饰如出一辙。其上设长颈，令整体造型形似摇铃，与蒙藏地区的白塔颇为相似，反映出康熙帝对于藏传佛教之虔诚信仰。
