A pair of Tibetan gilt copper ritual pegs associated with the practice of Hayagriva, Phurba/vajrakīla, 19th century, the tripartite blade issuing from the mouth of a makara, atop the handle decorated with lotus petals terminating in a three-headed Hayagriva wearing large hoop earrings inset with turquoise, with a stylized horse-head finial, 24.5cm long (2) 西藏十九世紀 銅鎏金嵌綠松石普巴金剛杵一對Cf. This type of Vajra is thought closely related to the practice of Hayagriva, although it is not seen depicted in the related Thangka paintings. One with slight verdigris and corrosion to the metal, the other with a slight bend to the the head of Hayagriva.
