A CELADON AND RUSSET JADE ‘CHILONG’ WEIGHT, EARLY QING DYNASTY
China, 17th to early 18th century. Of flattened form, the coiled beast carved in profile with a fierce expression, the mouth slightly agape in a snarl exposing a sharp fang, further detailed with pointed ears and a curved horn, the ribs neatly incised, the pierced bifurcated tail with scrolling tips. The smoothly polished, translucent jade of a celadon hue with paler shadings, russet inclusions and veining, and a creamy-white and brown patch on the creature’s face.

French trade.

Condition:
Very good condition with minor wear and light nibbling to the edges. The jade with natural inclusions and fissures, some of which have developed into small hairline cracks.

清初青玉留皮螭龍鎮


中國，十七世紀至十八世紀初。扁平狀，螭龍口微張，露出獠牙，尖耳彎角，身軀刻劃生動，尾部刺穿分叉捲曲。表面光滑拋光，半透明青色玉，帶有淺陰影、黃褐色內沁和紋理，局部乳白色和棕色斑塊。

狀況非常好，有輕微磨損和邊緣輕微磕損。玉石有天然内沁和裂隙，有的已發展成細小的裂紋。
