此对天球瓶主体纹饰为梅枝间栖落着喜鹊，寓意“喜上眉梢”。此瓶器型典雅，线条流畅，饱满圆润，胎釉俱佳，所绘梅花树干弯曲遒劲，枝桠交错，摇曳生姿；灼灼盛开的花朵，含苞待放的花蕾，皆俏立枝梢，神采奕奕；几只喜鹊栖于枝头，顾盼生姿，令画面生机盎然，生趣无限。色彩浓淡相宜，柔和典雅，明丽而不流俗，富贵亦不失雅致，寓意吉祥。中国民间多以喜鹊喻喜庆之事，“梅”与“眉”同音，故又作“喜上眉梢”。
