炉体四方，平口外侈，器壁直下出平底，四角出四象首足，刻画写实传神，大耳后扬，眉目细长，斜出长牙，长鼻内卷着地，额头的肌肉骨胳感、长鼻内侧的皮肤褶皱感等均尽情表现。炉身两侧塑象首耳，长鼻内卷斜向上出。通体光素，包浆润泽，光华内敛，给人以细腻柔滑之感，尽显铜炉精纯美质。后配紫檀木炉盖、承座，与器身契合完美，浑然一体。整器敦厚之中不失灵巧精致，是为书房陈设雅器。
