作者简介：陈宝琛(1848-1935)，字伯潜、伯泉、敬嘉，号弢庵、橘隐、听水老人、铁石道人。斋号海螺盦、征秋馆、沧趣楼、听水斋、海天阁。福建福州人。同治七年(1868)进士，授翰林院庶吉士。历官内阁学士、礼部侍郎、南洋大臣。入阁后以敢言朝政得失有名，与吴大瀓、张佩纶、宝廷等有“四大金刚”之目，又与张之洞等有“清流党”之称。光绪十七年被黜回里赋闲，其间，在福州创办东文书院、全闽师范学堂。辛亥革命前夕起用，任山西巡抚，未赴任，被留作溥仪帝汉文师傅，官为太傅，并任弼德院顾问大臣。清室亡后，积极怂恿溥仪复辟。1931年溥仪成立伪满时，又于次年前往，但被郑孝胥排挤南返。病逝于北平，谥号文忠。善书法，法黄庭坚，瘦硬遒劲。喜收古印，又工画松。
