炉身呈直筒状，下承如意圈足，内膛铸修平整。香炉腹部前后开光，起鱼子纹地，其上浅浮雕阿拉伯文纹饰。明代伊斯兰教颇受重视，因此阿拉伯文装饰甚为流行，出现在各类器物上，且文字内容一般多出自于可兰经，含义多为赞美真主，祈福吉祥。整体造型规整端正，铸造工艺精良，皮色藏经，局部露铜，包浆醇厚，实为明香炉器具中的典范之作。
