款识：“大明嘉靖年制”六字双行楷书双圈款
此盘敞口，敛腹，圈足，釉质均匀，造型端庄。通体敷施浇黄釉，釉色淡雅娇嫩，色泽清朗妍丽。黄釉瓷始烧于明，是皇家控制最严格的一种釉色。清代宫廷对黄釉瓷的使用有严格的等级规定，以色泽明辨尊贵，地位低者不得僭越。据清宫史料记载：“里外皆黄者，为皇帝御用”。同时黄釉作为至尊之色，御窑厂黄釉器废品及损坏器一律销毁不得折变，所传世者均由宫内流出，是珍罕的御用器。
