王炳荣是清朝同治、光绪年间景德镇瓷雕名家。清·宇周制竹雕羲之爱鹅笔筒，笔筒取毛竹一段，竹隔作底，削肉而成三矮板足，外侧浮雕羲之爱鹅图，镌刻诗文相配。笔筒诗文为李白的《送贺宾客归越》，内容引用王羲之手书《黄庭经》换取山阴道士白鹅的典故，用以赞美贺知章书法绝伦。
