“慎德堂”为圆明园内的一组建筑，位于圆明园九洲清晏的西面，修建于道光十年（1830年），次年落成，是道光皇帝在圆明园内的一处生活行宫，晚年主要生活在此。道光三十年（1850年），道光皇帝驾崩于“慎德堂”内。署“慎德堂”款的瓷器是景德镇御窑厂特意为道光皇帝烧制的“堂名款”瓷器，是道光时期的一种官窑瓷器
