甜白釉是白瓷的一种，创烧于明代永乐时期的景德镇官窑。永乐白瓷制品中许多都薄到半脱胎的程度，能够光照见影，而在釉暗花刻纹的薄胎器面上，施以温润如玉的白釉，便给人以一种“甜”的感受，故名“甜白”。甜白釉釉极莹润，能照见人影，比枢府窑卵白釉有更加明显的乳浊感，给人以温柔甜净之感，所以又称“葱根白”，素有“白如凝脂，素犹积雪”之誉。
